Description

The Sea Foam Ring is a sculptural sterling silver ring formed using Mitsuro Hikime, where warmed wax is stretched by hand to create flowing striations before being cast in metal.

A gentle curl of silver resembling a wave cradles a small cluster of luminous Japanese Akoya pearls strung on 14k white gold wire, reminiscent of sea foam gathering along the edge of a wave. The soft curves of the metal frame the pearls while the layered surface textures reveal the gestures created during the forming process.

Each piece develops its own unique structure as the wax is stretched, resulting in a ring that is entirely one of a kind.
